Downtown Glendale > Social Growth
Since February of 2024, I’ve led content strategy and social media growth for the Greater Downtown Glendale Association. When I first stepped in, their digital channels were underutilized, inconsistent, and lacked a clear voice. I set out to change that by creating original content, implementing a strategic posting cadence, and tapping into key community partnerships to expand reach and relevance.
On Instagram, reach grew from approximately 1,800 to over 21,000 per campaign cycle, with video views increasing from under 10K to nearly 70K. Engagement and account growth continued month-over-month—even outside of major events—due to consistent messaging, elevated visuals, and interactive content.
Facebook performance also improved, with reach growing from around 3.2K to 4K+ and community engagement strengthened through event coverage, shared content, and strategic tagging.
This ongoing work reflects more than just platform management—it demonstrates my ability to build a brand voice from the ground up, cultivate community-driven content, and generate measurable growth for a public-facing organization.
